Wear and Care
We understand that having invested in your new furniture you will want to enjoy it and keep it looking like new for as long as possible. We offer a five year protection programme which will be offered to you when you purchase your new furniture, this will provide protection from accidental rips, tears and staining. In order to maintain its good looks all upholstery needs to be cared for which is why we provide a care leaflet with your order offering full instructions relevant to your chosen fabric.
Parker Knoll use only the finest leather with great long lasting quality, it is resilient and robust, and when looked after properly it will last for generations. As a natural product every hide is unique and any natural markings of the hide are individual characteristics of your sofa and are to be cherished. Leather is hardwearing and low maintenance and can be wiped clean with a slightly damp cloth making it perfect for family life. We also offer leather cleaning kits and protection creams which help to maintain the appearance of your leather. In order to minimise the effects of fading ensure your furniture is not exposed to strong direct sunlight.
Choosing a Parker Knoll fabric means you have a great variety of colours, patterns and textures to select from each with their own individual look. Velvet and Chenille fabrics have a raised surface which may shade or flatten, these are normal characteristics of pile fabrics and should be considered part of its natural charm. To help your upholstery continue to look its best we recommend you gently vacuum or brush to remove dust and dirt. Removable or loose covers should be cleaned according to the instructions on the label attached to the cover.
